MARCH 2008

March 29 Reign Song.....Award winning group from Dalton, Georgia. 7:00 PM
Join us for a great time of inspiration and singing!!

EASTER WEEKEND March 21-23

              Hippity Hoppity  Easter's on its way.  Lots of  fun planned during the weekend.
SATURDAY EVENING AT DUSK: Join us for our annual Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt at dark in the park.
  Bring candy filled plastic eggs to hide and share.   Special Easter Sunrise Services Sunday morning.
  Coffee and donuts served following the sunrise service.

  APRIL 2008 Spring Break Continues

Ist Saturday in April : Lee Day Festival, Lee, Florida,  US 90

              Local Event at Lee, Florida.  Area crafters bring their latest  creations and the musician

bring the entertainment. Parade at 10:00 AM    Enjoy the day at Lee and then come back for

a cool off time at the pool and lake at Jellystone Park. 

April 25-27      Local Event at Madison:  Four Freedoms Festival.

 (Minimum stay 2 nights) Special Campsite Rate $25 at Jellystone Park.

Festivities begin Friday night with Becky's Dance Steps Studio students perform followed by a street dance. 
Vendor's booths will be open. Saturday Parade at 10:00 Saturday.  Artists & Crafters from all over come
to show and sell their wares in our city park.  Musicians perform during the day at the gazebo.

Ole timey games are held on the courthouse square.  All kinds of regional foods will be

available for lunch.  Most of the food vendors are for the benefit of church groups,

service clubs, sports teams, Boy & Girl Scouts,  Relay for Life teams, etc.  Come out

and support your favorite groups!!!!

MAY 2008

 May 9-11 MOTHER'S DAY WEEKEND

      Make Mom queen for the weekend.  Mother/Daughter Parent Trap Game.  Moms can enjoy at free Starwberry Shortcake
Saturday evening. . Call for special spa treatment opportunities at our Madison spas.

 May 16-18   Gospel Weekend with the Singing Reflectsons and Heirline !

         Gospel Concert on Saturday night.  Join us for some great singing and fellowship!!!
,Campsites $26 with a two night stay. Enjoy some great music on Saturday night at 7:00 PM.

 May 23-26 Memorial Day Weekend  (3 Night minimum Stay)

              Theme for the weekend is "WE SALUTE OUR HEROES "!
      Decorate your campsites in the Red, White and Blue as we salute the men and

women who are serving and have served out country!!    This is our 7th year as a

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park.!!! Fireworks on Saturday Night.  Activities planned all weekend. 

 JUNE 2008

JUNE 6-8   YOGI  BEAR'S BIRTHDAY PARTY

                 Children's Activities all day leading up to the big birthday Party for Yogi on Saturday night. 

  Come help Yogi Bear blow out  his candles and enjoy cake and ice cream.  We had a great party last year!
This year we will be serving cup cakes and icecream!!!

 June 13-15   FATHER'S DAY   &  50s WEEKEND

           Father & Son Scavenger Hunt.  Fishing Tournament on Saturday morning!! 
. Sock Hop on Saturday night. Bring those 50s outfits to wear to the hop!
  

 June20-22   Let Summer Begin With Back Yard BBQing and Such!

          Join us for watermelon , water fun, beach volley ball,, fishing tournament, and our first BBQ Cook off.
Get your teams together. Entry fee $50. Reserve your favorite site....cooking begins at 4 AM and Ends at 6:00 PM
Judging at 6:30 PM

June 29-July 5 Pre 4th of July Week Stay Sunday to Sunday

  July 11-13 Yogi Bear's Beach Party     Beach games and relays, pretty leg contest, Sand castle Contest,
beach volleyball tournament,& water balloon games.   Saturday night features our beach music, dance and karaoke by the pool!

July18-19  Tropical Paradise

    Enjoy a weekend of lazing in the sun, beach games, and much more.
Bring your trpical outfits to wear to the Karaoke Fun time.

July 25-27  Yogi Bear Goes Hawaiian

                 Aloha!!!  Come join Yogi Bear at our Hawaiian Party. A Hawaiian Concession Stand
will be open.. Come and enjoy the fun of being in Hawai without flying there!!!!

Bring all your Hawaiian grass skirts and shirts and get dressed up Hawaiian style.

Hula hoop contest and karaoke entertainment Saturday afternoon come and

Slip &  Slide on chocolate pudding!! Bring your Hawaiian stuff to decorate your

campsite site!  Fun for the entire family!!!   

AUGUST 2008

August 1-3 Yogi Bear's Chocolate Lover's Weekend
WOW! Chocolate is king for the weekend. Let's have some
fun the good ole fashion way. Slipping and sliding on chocolate
pudding, face painting, and chocolate pie eating contest!

 August 8-10 Wild West Wet & Wild
Bring your six shooters (water guns!!) for our Wild West Water Blast from the Past. 
  Watch for the Wet & Wild Train Ride!!!
Join us for a delicious steak dinner @$11, Kids can share a steak. Reserve meals by

August 15-17 A Tribute to Elvis Weekend
Bring your Elvis costumes and sing for us Saturday night at Karaoke.
An Elvis movie will shown on Friday night.

August 22-34 Back to School Blast
   Time to hit the books again.  Let's make this the beach party to last all winter.

         Bring the grand kids and spend some quality time with them.

         Saturday night share with us some Tall Tales about the kid's parents when you were

     October 18: Come stay with us and visit Hickory Grove Methodist Church Festival as they step back in
time and fix things the way we used to a long time ago...from cooking on the wood stove, to rendering
fat, making sausage, grinding cane, telling stories, homemade ice cream, and their famous chicken and rice
dinner at noon!!! Something for every one, singing and preaching in the afternoon!!! Come camp with us
and enjoy this great event!!!!

October 24-25 Halloween at Jellstyone Park

  Fun & Games by the pool patio every weekend in October(Bring candy to share during our Trick or Treat Time!)  
  Yogi Bear can always use volunteers to help out,  so sign up early.Decorate your campsite to enter the

Sunday Morning: 10:30 AM Worship with the Reflectsons, Rev. Dale Thigpen, guest speaker.

Special Weekend Package: Two nights @ Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park/Campground $82 tax included.

 NOVEMBER 26-29  Thanksgiving at Jellystone Park
THREE NIGHT MINIMUM STAY.
  Spend Thanksgiving with Ranger Smith & Yogi Bear (if we can wake him up).  
Join us for our traditional Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday.  We'll bring the Turkey and dressing,
you bring the fixins (Please bring at least two side dishes....we almost ran out of sides last year!!!)
Beverage and  paper goods furnished. (Don't forget Desserts!!  And Yogi Bear's favorite: chocolate cake!!!) 
Reservations a week ahead please for the dinner!!!! 
The next day:   Special hunting trip ($75 per person) for the fathers and sons.
Mr. Bud will be conducting the Bird Hunt. The cost is $75 per person over the age
of 15. Hunting license required. This will be a quail hunt beginning at 8:00 AM
Friday and Saturday morning. Please sign up Thursday so he will know how many
are coming. Bring orange vests & guns. Our ladies will get directions to the malls &
downtown Madison area.

 DECEMBER 2008 The campground ground is open during this holiday month.
Come and enjoy the great outdoors when you can this month.Enjoy your family and the chrish the moments you have with them. If you can squeeze in a camping trip to Jellystone Park we would love to have you. Have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year. Make your plans to visit us real soon. February 7 Brian Norris Gospel Sing @ 7:00 PM

February 13-15     Valentines Weekend & Presidents' Weekend

    Come out and enjoy the great cool weather at Jelllystone Park.
Old timey hayride Saturday afternoon.  A beneift for the Senior Citizens of Madison will be held
on Saturday nigh @ 6:00 PM Cost is $20 per person. Dinner will be served @ 6:00 PM. The menu will be
a choice of baked chicken or roastbeef with complimentary sides, dessert, tea or coffee. 
 We have special guests with us this night, The Kenney Famiy, will present us with
an after dinner show along with some local entertainers. Fun for every one.
Make this a long weekend. Enjoy a bonfire with your family and friends.

   MARCH 2009

 March is Spring Break month for our schools & colleges.  Plan a week or weekend for the

spring breakers from your family, church group, school, etc.  Karaoke on Saturday night,

Wild Adventures ($$),  etc.  Plus lots of fun for the whole family swimming & 
waterslide (weather permitting!!), volley ball, fishing, kayaking, biking, etc.)!!!
